Wordpress for affiliates?
 

I would like to create a website to give affiliate marketing a try. I used DreamWeaver once but I spend days figuring things out because my HTML skills are not that good. I thought about making a wordpress site since that looks way easier than having write all the code myself. But the problem is:I read that wordpress doesn't allow to promote products with affiliate links.

Now is my question: Can I make a wordpress website using one of their templates, buy hosting somewhere else like Hostgator, transfer the whole website to Cpanel and host it like a complete new website? Would that be against the rules and even possible?

This would really help me so that I can easily make a website using wordpress, but don't have to worry about them shutting down my website because I am promoting affliate links
