Onpage optimization

How to differ Onpage optimization from offpage optimization?

johnhenry123 11-25-2013 11:59 PM

Off page optimization is a process to optimize your website to other sites like link building and On page optimization is a procoss to do changes in your website like: alt images, meta title, meta tags, description etc.

On page optimization is what can be done on the pages of a website to maximize its performance in search results (like inclusion of unique content, meta tag optimization, usage of anchor text, reducing page loading speed etc)

Off page is what you do to promote your website ( like linkbuilding, social bookmarking, guest blogging, directory submission etc.)

In On-Page we work online like content optimization, etc. And in off-page we build backlinks like link building, etc.

In On-page SEO, we work on website and we can change as par our requirement, ex. Meta tag update etc. and in Off-page SEO, we work for our website, as for example we create links for our website.

Thanks,
