Yes, it is due to some google updation going on like mobile responsive websites the fluctuations of ranking is still going on these days. This is the reasons why the websites are not getting top position in the google search list.

i dont think there is any latest update other than what you mentioned, ranking changes happen, after all its internet many factors are there.
