What is Google Sandbox?
Hi
I want to know that what is Google Sandbox? |
Google Sandbox is similar to Recyclebin ,where the site is not permanently removed. A website is moved to Google sandbox if it is Violating webmaster rules.

If your site is new, it will not come in google search results pages in good keywords.

The Google Sandbox is an algorithm that are used to build backlinks for your blogs.
|
If Google shows your website in the results and your website recently dropped down in keyword rankings, than you are still indexed by Google and it is likely that you were placed in the Sandbox. New websites start out on the bottom with a zero page rank but with time the site can start ranking up.
|
It may seem that the Sandbox is unfair to newly launched websites, but Google created the Sandbox with good reasons. Google was trying to discourage spam sites from quickly reaching the top of Search Results, getting dropped off Google, creating a new site and repeatedly showing up high in Search Results.

The Google Sandbox is an alleged filter placed on new websites. The result is that a site does not receive good rankings for its most important keywords and keyword phrases. Even with good content, abundant incoming links and strong Google PageRank, a site is still adversely affected by the Sandbox effect.

|
It is like getting a new site in probation. Most especially those that are ranking too fast on SERP.
|
Good to know. Does this Sandbox thing only apply to new websites or can any website regardless of domain age be sandboxes?
|
Google Sandbox is not a program or tool. It is rather just a term by webmasters and marketers pertaining to the website's "no traffic" period.
This is the time wherein a website should expect no traffic coming from search engines. Usually the sites experiencing Google Sandbox are new websites. |
