internal links point to pages on your own site , from your own site... outbound links point to other site.

Both can be good fr bad for seo, depending on how its used.

An internal link is one that goes to other areas within your site.
An Outbound link is one that goes to another URL outside of your site, or links from other sites to yours.

Inbound links are those links pointing to your website from other sites while outbound links are links pointing to other site from your website.
