How do you measure keyword density?

How do you measure keyword density on your pages?

Personally, I just count the number of times my keyword shows up. My count is done while viewing the code, so I can see inside meta tags etc.

Is there a better way?

Keyword density is the measure of the ratio of the number of times a keyword is repeated to the total word count of the article. It should be kept in between 2 to 3 percent to get the maximum benefit.

Keyword Density is defined as the number of times a keyword used in a blog or page compared to the total number of words present in it.
These are few keyword density checker tools-
Ranks NL, SEOBook, Rapid Search Metrics, Live Keyword Analysis, SEOCentro, iWEBTOOL.

If you google 'keyword density checker' or keyword density tool' then the top results will enable you to analyse your page for keyword densities. If you are trying to rank highly for a keyword or term then you want a density between 2-7%
