Backlinking To The Subdirectory?

Well I did Quite a lot of research on this already but I am still having some questions about it.

If I post a backlink to my webpage without any anchor linking to my subdomain blog post Will that rank its keywords? Lets say if you put a webpage link in your profile on forum you can't really add an anchor there.

I know that if you add anchor text at the same time, it Will increase anchor keywords but what happens when you can't do that? Naked link to my blogpost which is located on my page.

Thanks!

Yes, We should create our website link in sub directory because sub directory give more relevancy to our business. We need to chose most relevant categories to our business so that Google crawler easy find our website link and index on google search results.
