Links in footer?

Hello Friends,

I am wondering DOES ANYONE KNOW if link s back to home page in my footer will help with the silo effect, or are footer links not of value.

Please share with me your opinion.

You should always part with the USER EXPERIENCE it should not be annoying for your customers to determine what they are looking for.

Footer links from your website are considered as internal links, these links are only helpful for search engine to crawl your entire website.

Naturally, since they're some of the least visible links on a webpage, they receive very little traffic.

Link footer is not bad if you are doing internal linking and not anchor text spamming in the footer links. It can be used to pass PR to more important pages but should mostly be thought of as providing the user a better.
