3D Laser Scanning uses non-destructive technology and is a non-contact measuring device which allows data to be captured digitally without damaging the physical object being scanned. It is a way of capturing an objects exact size and shape into a 3D representation into a computer.

For example, a painted car body will not require a dulling agent when scanned with a T-Scan 3D laser scanner.
