What are the latest Title and Meta Description Character Limit

Title is somewhere between 55 to 60 characters including spaces, Meta description is somewhere between 150 to 160 characters including spaces.

Google has updated its meta tag limits, but its just a testing phase. Now the display length of title on SERP is 71 character and description is 278 character.

Based on Google SERPs, title tag and meta description character limits have decreased 21% and 23%, respectively.

Old Metadata Character Limits -

Title Tags = 70 characters.
Meta Description = 150 characters.

New Google Metadata Character Limits -

Title Tags = 55 characters.
Meta Description = 115 characters.

Meta title limit is 55 to 60 character and we have used primary keyword. Meta description limit is 155 to 160 character and we have to use primary keyword in description.

Google consider,
Title: 50 to 60 characters and
Description: 150 to 160 characters.
