Caching and Indexing

What is the differences between cache and index?

Walteradams 06-22-2016 06:48 AM

How caching, creeping and listing performs. Which one has greater priority? How techniques are taken out. What Search engines do? Does it first caches the pages/websites or spider the information on the web page.

Indexing- Google visited your website and has added you to its database. Caching- Google toook a snapshot of your website when it last visited and stored the data in case your website went down or if there are some any other issues.

Caching is the process or reading through your webpage source by search engine spiders. They provide a cache certificate after a successful crawl. Indexing is updating the cached webpages in search engine database. Indexed webpages are now ready for search engine rankings.

Caching - Caching is where copies of web pages stored locally on an Internet user's hard drive or within a search engine's database.

Indexing- Indexing takes place after a crawled URIs are processed. Note that there may be several URIs that are crawled but there could be fewer of them whose content will be processed through indexing.

Indexing is when Google visited your website and add your website to its database. Caching is when Google took a snapshot of your website when it last visited.

Cache
when search engine bot or crawler come to your page or found any update on site

Indexing
After reading the updated element it stores those new elements in Search Engine's database. This restoration process referred as Indexing.

Google spider crawling our website and check what is new update that is called caching.
And When site stored in the database of google it's called indexing

Hi, Indexing is where search engines spiders / bots move from web page to web page by following the links on the pages. The pages "found" are then ranked using an algorithm and indexed into the search engine database.Caching is where copies of web pages stored locally on an Internet user's hard drive or within a search engine's database.
