How to rank for a specific page if you are targeting two pages for the same keyword
Hello Friends,
Today while doing competitor analysis, I came across with a very strange thing. Please help me to understand what exactly they have done. Competitor is targeting term "real estate broker" in the home page(page1) as well as they are having dedicated page for the same term like /real-estate-broker(page2). In page2 they are having keyowrd based URL, used keyword in the h1 tag, having proper keyword density, but den too there home page is ranking for the term "real estate broker" and not the dedicated page(Page2). My not able to understand how to tell Google, which page to give the priority if we are targeting one keyword in more than one web page of the website. Your suggestion will be really helpful. Thanks in Advance. |
