Internal links are those that point to the internal pages of the same root domains, whereas external links are those that point to external domains from your website.

Internal links and external links both are different in nature
Internal links- Internal links are those links which is the source link of another page source and it takes the image or documents for redirecting the other page.
External links- External links are those links which is the hyperlinks the website to other domains.
