How to check whether my site is penalize by google or not ?

There are 2 ways to check the penalized or banned websites.
1. Through Google Webmaster tool, check the status of your website.
2. Manually check by typing the name or URL of your website on the search box. If it's not there, it means your website's got penalized or banned.

If google update its algorithm and you lost your website traffic or ranking on SERP during that time period, it means your site is penalized by that algorithm.

But if you lost your ranking on SERP and even your site don't get any results on your domain name or url on SERP, it means your site got manual penalty.

Enter your website url on the address bar , if your website is not available means your website has penalized.

You can check your website for Google penalty in various online tools like Google webmaster tool, Moz seo tool and Majestic seo tool.

Google penalty means,Your website thus not follow the white hat process.

If you targeted keywords are not in good rank or decrease the position of your targeted keywords and you don;t able to recover them and your traffic suddenly decrease then most probably you site on Google penalty.

If we search the website from its name without www. or extension like .com and it appears in search then we can say it not penalized nor banned and if it doest not appear in search result then it may be penalized or banned.

If your website traffic suddenly drops and you see a corresponding decline in rankings, there is a good possibility that you are on the receiving end of a Google penalty.
