I'll give your example whenever you are submitting 70 do follow directory link in a month and the same time you submitting a 30 no follow directory . when google crawler searching links and they think that this user links is good. Why? google consider that you are not hunger for links and google also consider 30 no follow links as 3 links .. this is the basic difference between no follow and do follow and for good seo.
