Crawling - Google sends its spiders to your websit
Indexing - Google visited your website and has added you to its database
Caching - Google took a snapshot of your website when it last visited and stored the data in case your website went down or if there are some any other issues.

First Google take your website and send it to Google spider. this process called crawling

Then Google see your website through sitemap and robot.txt then add your websites's web pages in to Google database. This process called indexing.

Crawling and indexing are two such terms.
Crawling:
When Google visits your website for tracking purposes. This process is done by Google’s Spider crawler.
Indexing:
After crawling has been done, the results get put onto Google’s index (i.e. web search).

Hi,

Crawling: Crawling is, when a search engine sends a bot (aka Search engine spiders) to read or crawl the webpages around the internet database. This crawler reads all webpages carefully and gets back with a calculation and a few tags.

Indexing: Indexing is, when this bot gives all the collected information to the search engines and search engine submits/Index a webpage listing on it, the collected calculations helps search engines to analyze the keywords for the webpage, by which show that in Search listing. Meta tags helps in managing the title and description for that listing
