it depends on the web hosting company, which you are using, but VPS is secure in compare to normal web hosting. VPS gives you more reliable features in terms of security, if you want any recommendation, try Host Surf UK

Another feature of the VPS is the ability to create sandboxes and honeypots. These are methods of testing software updates and features while keeping the main site secure. Your company uses one of its VPS partitions for its main site and another one as a backup.

Taking the advantage of the opportunity I can recommend centohost.com cheap vps hosting solutions.
They have servers located in US and EU. So far, you will experience any downtime, and the servers will be fast.

Many webmasters appreciate the quality of hosting services they provide.

I have nice hosting experience with Hostwinds.com ssd vps hosting.
The setup of my webspace was quick and professional - was completed within 5 minutes!! The support and service has been excellent, even to the point of a courtesy e-mail to inquire if any help or advice can be given.

VPS is more like working in an office where one computer is partitioned into sections and connected to 4 monitors, keyboards, and mice. While the resources are effectively divided up evenly, there are limits to how much each user can do – and if one user did something that crashed the computer, everyone would be out of luck.

Shared hosting is like a family computer. If one person downloads every single episode of Game of Thrones and fills up 60% of the hard drive, the rest of the family only has 40% of the drive to use – because all the resources are shared.

Just choose a VPS provider who's datacenter is geographically close to your target audience. Also a host that is fairly close to you, since you'll be the one accessing the VPS the most.

Take a look at Lusovps.com and QHoster.com - they are two reliable host with well-balanced vps hosting solutions.

Differences Between VPS Hosting, Shared Hosting & Dedicated Server

hi,

Shared hosting is not that safe as a lot of people are hosting their sites on the same server. If the server gets hacked, all the websites are affected and things become difficult. VPS offers a dedicated environment

It is something that stays in between a shared hosting and a dedicated server.

Forsure the VPS is more secured. Also the security for any service depends on the security provisions provided by the web host.
