What is important for off page seo: Domain Authority or Page Authority?
Hello folks,
What is important for off page seo: Domain Authority or Page Authority? |
Domain Authority and Page authority both are important. Domain authority is measure by Moz and it is based on three factors are:
--Age --Size --Popularity. Page Authority Measures the strength of individual page. It is a score given by moz in 100 points(0–100) and also predict the specific page to rank in search engine. It is based off data from the mozscape web index. |
Objectively, investing in domain authority is better over the long-term, and if given enough time, will earn you more inbound traffic (since you’ll be increasing the ranking potential for many pages at once). Therefore, domain authority demands at least some share of your focus; focusing exclusively on one page and one page alone will stifle your campaign’s growth.

Whereas Domain Authority measures the predictive ranking strength of entire domains or subdomains, Page Authority measures the strength of individual page. The same is true for metrics such as MozRank and MozTrust.”
The fact remains that a domain with higher authority will pass on more authority to a newly created page, once re-indexation has taken place and the new page has a good number of internal links pointing to it. Hence it is always advantageous to have a higher domain authority as it will enable a new page to rank faster and higher in the search engines at least in the initial stages compared to a website with lower domain authority. |
Both are important and should be known for better ranking of our website when off-page submission are done.
