What is a Dreamweaver Template?
Hi friends,
Explain what is a Dreamweaver Template? Reply guys... |
Dreamweaver templates allow you to have a consistent look and feel on all the pages in your site.

A non-Dreamweaver template is an existing page that Contribute users can use to create new pages; it's similar to a Dreamweaver template, except that pages that are based on it don't update when you change the template.

A Dreamweaver template is an extraordinary sort of report that you use to outline a "settled" page design; you would then be able to make archives in light of the format that acquire its page design. As you outline a layout, you indicate as "editable" which content clients can alter in a record in light of that format.

A template is a special type of document that you use to design a “fixed” page layout; you can then create documents based on the template that inherit its page layout. As you design a template, you specify as “editable” which content users can edit in a document based on that template.

A template is a common structure of a web site that most of your web pages use. Usually web sites follow a standard structure, for e.g. you would have a header, a navigation bar and a footer that is common to all your pages. Imagine that your site has 25 pages. If you need to make one small change, let's say adding a new link, you would need to go to each of those 25 pages and change it manually. But using a template you only need to change it in the template and all the pages get updated automatically. Here you will learn how to use templates in Dreamweaver.
