Ahref is the best tool to check backlinks.Ahref is a paid tool but it is a full package.It shows you everything like keyword suggestion, backlink count etc

There are many tools for seo purpose in which some of paid and some of free. my most favorite tool is smallseotools in a free version. Ahrefs and SEMrush are aslo good but these are paid tools.
