Masking dynamic url's
 

Hello everyone

What are the in's and out's of making a dynamic url appear to be a static page? We are running cold fusion and have found a script that will allow this. "Hurl Params" to be specific. A highly reputable search engine consultant has told us that there is nothing wrong with this and will help our websites appear larger, thus more relevant.

I have been around the seo game for awhile now and this sounds like it would work good, but it all sounds a little too sneaky to me. I am very leary about implementing this.

What does everyone think?

Sounds fishy to me.. But if the reputable search engine consultant really said it and it's not fabricated then maybe you can try. But it's better to wait until some other people try it first though, just for sure.
