OC Hosting / Velocity, maybe looking for a new host
 

Hello all,

I was a happy customer of OChosting for several years, and they are right on the verge of making me move elsewhere. They recently changed all of their services around, removed a lot of useful tools, garbled our passwords, ruined the spam filtering, and even rolled back our website to a backup from a year ago! I could go on, but in essence, they really messed everything up. I suspect it's related to the merger with Velocity.

Does anyone know if these service changes are permanent or if they are going to rectify these problems? (the admins used to read this forum).

Needless to say, their phone people have been less than helpful.

Short of a solution with them (I'd really rather not move), can someone recommend a decent shared host, to handle a small business site, email, stats, and the rest?

(looking for reasonable shell access, web stats, a decent spam filter, good support, and reliability, 6G space or so, no huge traffic needs)
