PHP based message board
 

Ok so on this new site I am creating we are going to allow members to post up opinions about places they have been to such as clubs, resturants, etc. So I want to allow only members to be able to post. So I guess what I realy need is a login script that is made for a database and how do I go about creating the "leave a message/comment" part of it without getting something like PHPNuke or PHPbb? I just need to allow people to post messages, possibly create a filter for naughty words, and be able to specify how many messages to show up on each page.

Any ideas or sites I can got o to get started on some code that may help me?

These are just bunch of links that are not actually so useful.

Log-on to your ISP and go to your c-Panel to look for CMS scripts that are offered that you can set-up with one click. These CMS programs are loaded with features, so you may have to look to find that feature you're looking for. Since you're starting a site, you would likely be better off creating your entire site using a CMS. It will save you lots of time.

So, just google the CMS programs that are available to you.

By the way CMS = Content Management System.
