Resizeable columns
Hi all, I'm kind of new at this and just got tasked with doing something that I can't figure ouot.
Here's the situation. We have a web page that has within a frame a series of columns displaying information retrieved from a database. The column widths are static. I have been tasked with figuring out how to make it so that the columns can be dynamically re-sized, similar to what you can do in excel. Any thoughts on how this can be accomplished? HTML? DHTML? Javascript? Java? Has anyone ever done this? Thanks for any help. |
You should check this link it will help to get a solution http://www.java2s.com/Tutorial/Java/...ableColumn.htm

if the browser is Java script enabled then you can parse the DHTIML script code but HTML does not contain any script code, and they are directly rendered on the screen.
