Domain after 301 redirection!

Anybody tried to re-use a domain after a 301 redirection if yes i would like to know what results did he got?
Also i would like to ask if a 3 years old domain with good amount of backlinks is sandboxed and a 301 redirection from this domain to a new domain is made will it give any benefit to the new domain?
Thanks

When I used the 301 redirect it was not even noticeable for the PR or for the traffic so I really do recommend this technique.

By doing perfect 301 redirection we will get traffic in a short amount of time for new domains and link value will pass from older to new.

If the backlinks keywords are similar to that of your new domain, then use you can use the old domain. Also, look out for the old domain website history on archive.org.

When your website is in the sandbox then there would be no benefit either you place the 301 redirection.
