Is there an importance of sitemap for PR ?
 

I am there in the way of achieving high PR for the website of mine. My friends advised me to try sitemaps as they are helpful to search engine optimization. However, they said to me that the inclusion of sitemap to a website will not make the direct betterment of the PR. There is implementation of it in the SEO procedure for asking the spider for crawling to certain web pages of the websites. The robots are given a reference point with links to get the web pages crawled quickly and easily. This factor will be of real help to me to get ranking easily.
