Web Robot?

Hello friends i want to know What are Web Robots?How we can creates Web Robots? Please give me some tips.:confused:

Web Robots are also called crawlers.They are the programs which travel across the web to retrieve the website page by following the different links passing through them. After crawling they submits the website in its database which is called as Indexing.Its not necessary that indexing is always done after crawling.
