Do you go for the high competing keywords to rank?

I have an important question for you today:

What's better.. Do you choose to target a High Monthly traffic keyword phrase - even if the number of competitiors is big.. Or Do you prefer the low traffic keywords with low competitors number??

we prefer the keywords of high capitations after struggle we take it on top

Well in My Opinion to put extra effort to rank high competition keywords it is batter approach to rank couple of low competition keywords! After Panda Algorithmic Update it is quite tough for webmaster to regain the top position continuously so it is batter approach to rank 3 or 4 low competition keywords instead of one high competitive keyword..
