Why Blogger is Redirecting?

I am not getting understand why blogger is redirecting to country level TLD extension. Is this good for you or not?:o

This change will surely help to optimize your website locally , so if you're focusing on local market , then its good.

Blogger says they are making every effort to minimize any negative consequences, very soon.

You can however add �ncr/,� which stands for �No Country Redirect� to the end of the URL (i.e. http://name.blogspot.com/ncr/) and the user will no longer be served the country-specific (potentially censored) version of the blog. Or you may even move to a custom domain...

Am not optimizing for locally..Its not good for me..I think I will opt for �No Country Redirect" .
