some advice
 

Hi all,

I've been reading lots of the forums here, trawling through the pages, really learning some amazing insights into how SEO works, stuff i didn't realize before.

I would like to ask a question or three on some issues;

I see a lot of talk about keywords and optimization i think i understand the keyword linking to sites... but im wondering how busy looking a page has to be in order to work effectively... i mean, can it be a single landing page? or does it need a cms behind it ?

Also, in your opinion, for a new comer, what would be the best way to start forward.. to cut teeth as it were?
I was considering some adsense sites and see how this goes on... is that a good start place?

I though i might follow some of the advice in the adsense forum and see where it goes but thinking into it, i see i need information, gather things like email accounts domains, whats registered where , ip addresses and the like so i was thinking about knocking up some kind of excel sheet to keep track of it... i was wondering it anyone does the same and might be able to give me some pointers on what info i need to keep a track of...
