Benefits by adding html sitemaps to website?
 

Hello optimizers I want to know that why we add the html sitemaps to our websites? Please explain me what are the benefits by adding this in our site?

I got benefit by uploading sitemap.xml file for my website. Due to sitemap file all the pages of my site are crawled by Google and I am having more traffic on my website.

HTML site map contains links to pages on site

An HTML site map is included for your visitor’s benefit. Some people just get lost and the HTML site map is one way to find their way back to where they want to be/go. The added benefit of the HTML site map is that any bot that finds it can follow the links, unlike those who only support the Sitemaps protocol.
Another benefit of the HTML site map for those of you who use Flash or Javascript driven menus is, it adds accessibility, usability and services the bots which cannot read your navigation menu(s).
