If you want to create a customized map then TileMill is one of the best applications for it. TilMill simplifies GSI data as far as possible, by, sharing data between projects. It can read from multiple popular data sources and enables us to use any patterns, fonts and images on maps. Generally TilMill uses the CartoCSS design language which is similar to CSS and has support for variables and functions.
