Page load time also concerned for Google ranking. If your web page is not w3c standard the page loading time is too much.

Yes, W3C Validations are important from SEO Point of view. If some W3C Errors are ther due to coding script errors, the Google spider may not crawl that link and ultimately your rank in search engines may drop.
