The difference between Yahoo SEO and Google SEO

I spend most of my time to get back links from the quality websites to get my rank improved in Google and Yahoo. I am doing good at Google but the rank on yahoo is down. Could any one point the issue/problem regarding to this?

Yahoo results are based on Bing search result, to get listed in yahoo your site must have good On-Page and the freshness factor. Means your site must be updated regularly or alternately.

For better ranking in Yahoo, you have to do on-page of your site. I think this is better option for getting best ranking in Yahoo.

There is too much difference between Yahoo SEO and Google SEO today, if you are doing directory submission then it is good for Yahoo SEO, if you are doing blog commenting then it is good for Google SEO.

Really haven't focused on yahoo in years as Google owns 60+ % of the search market... That being said, yahoo did have some wonderfullly converting traffic back in the day.

Google Search engine give more focus on Meta title tag,Meta Description tag and URL.

Where as Yahoo search engine give focus on Meta title tag, URL and Meta keywords tag.

The Crowler for both search engine are different.
