Does Facebook Offers works ?

I know the offers are distributed through users news feeds. But I wanted to hear more comments and opinions from marketers that tried it.

We all know that Groupon are losing money. But maybe Facebook offers works batter?

I don't think so. even Facebook offer to buy his coupon for advertisement.
