What are your thoughts on ranking for multiple long-tail, but highly complimentary keywords, in the same blog post?

Have you done it?

it looks great idea, but not very easy with the kind of competition, you always require to be with GOOGLE'S UPDATE

nice idea but you need traffic for that keyword. if you don't get traffic then it is not good.
