Do you think it's necessary to learn HTML5 for mobile developers?

As we know that most of company are started using HTML5 for developing mobile application for iOS, Android or other platform. So do you think that it will be necessary to learn HTML5 other than basic mobile development(Android or iOS) to continue in the filed of mobile development.

HTML5 is one if the Must learning and understand for the 2013 web design.. so i think it's important to get an idea about the new Tags and classes...

For me it is no so necessary as I am happy using neosofttech.com mobile development services.
Overall, this appears to be a decent company that is really trying to make a good name for itself in business.
