Why is swearing banned?

I'm not trying to disturb the flow of things around here, but why is swearing forbidden on a forum dedicated to a tv show that contains swear words. I mean even if there are children on this forum, for them to be here, they must of seen the show, and even the lame adultswim version has swear words. I don't think you need to swear in every conversation, but I do believe there is a time and a place for everything. I don't even understand whats so taboo about the so called swear words. In the end their no different than any other words, just an arrangement of sounds to form a concept. Now lets get back to the kids. Does anyone els think that seeing a person(shinigami, quincy, hollow, or any other living and/or dead creature) getting impaled, dismembered, or just plain old sliced and diced by swords, way worse than any word in any language. I'm just saying if your cool with your kids seeing all that, then hearing or reading swear words on the internet shouldn't be that big of a problem. Once again I'm not trying to disturb the flow of things, I was just wondering what others thought of the no swearing thing.

Swear words are banned to maintain a decorum in the forums, people must know how to behave otherwise it won't take long for people to make these forums a market place where people would be swearing everywhere.
