I heard google page rank update/refresher is supposed to be this week in May. Is this correct or when will pagerank refresh and update?

I didn't hear about this but yes I am hearing about Google Penguin will be updating in any week of May..

I haven't heard of it yet, but you do not have to worry as long as you are working on quality websites and leaving good comments or used quality SEO techniques.

I researched that if you use a keyword to much it will be effected is that true? Alot of my work has been on my carpet cleaning las vegas keyword. Are smaller sites effected? We currently rank on page 1 on google from press releases/blogs/forum/articles, etc. I'm worried about it! Most sites from the penguin update done in april 2012 haven't recovered from the downgrade.

I have not heard about any update of seo by google but it's clear that google will soon update any algorithms in may or june.

From what I've read, these algorithim updates hurt many small businesses. Even posting a signature on a forum board can hurt you with this update because it shows it as spam.
