I run and own a home improvements site, thus have no experience in web design. I have hired someone to create this site for me so any feedback would be really helpful.

Site looks good but takes a long time to load. Using a cache plugin like W3TC or Super cache would help in making the site load faster.

Maybe you can put some pictures to it, add more colors. You sites is very plain and simple.

i think its perfect nearly lots of imagery and things like that.

although it does take like 3 or 4 seconds to show the images and a slower pc would probably take twice aslong
