What is DevSecOps?

DevSecOps is the combo of Dev) software development, (Sec) security, and (Ops) IT Operations.

DevSecOps job is to implement security at every stage of the development life cycle and use different tools to efficiently close up all vulnerabilities.

It’s not as common for a DevSecOps role to worry about constructing the actual app, instead, they may take existing architecture and configure it to have additional layers of security.

It’s more popular for DevSecOps roles to take implement security earlier in the application development since cyber-attacks are occurring more frequently.
