Has anyone done any research on Keyword Stuffing and Google? I'm reading lots of different SEO articles and finding some conflicting information.

I understand that "description" meta tag can have up to 250 characters in which I can repeat a word for up to 6 times. For example I could have the following as my description meta tag.

"Rolex Watch Rolex Watches Rolex Gold Watch Rolex Platinum Watches Gold Watch Retailers Rolex Water Resistant Watches Rolex Diamond Watches Retailer"

Could this be considered spam or keyword stuffing by Google?

I read somewhere that ALT attribute of the IMG tag can have 50 charachters max. How many times can I repeat a keyword in ALT attribute?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
