Nailing the look of the site is vital to any business. Yes the back end is really important as well to but no one is going to look at the code, except for Google bots and other web designers. Having that right look that will hold a viewers interest is vital, hopefully the website is pleasing enough for the viewer to return. Having great content also helps.
