I disagree that alot of people have javascript disabled. Nowadays most all websites on the internet use and often rely on js code to allow the visitor to efficiently interact with the site. Hell, browsers have it defaulted on and most people don't even know how to turn it off. If they do know how, they are smart enough to know to keep it on. Even most domain environments have javascript code enabled. It's activeX content that is most often disabled.
