SEO is search engine optimization. This means literally optimizing your site to be found on the search engines.

The SERPs Search Engine Ranking Pages are what all the attention goes to.

When you type something into Google this is known as a keyword. The first page is the aim of SEOs to get a site to show on for their chosen keywords.

So in essence that's what SEO is about.
