Web promotion is a means of promoting a business, product or a service via the Internet. As the Internet is such a massive resource anyone who wants to use web promotion can quickly benefit when they get it right. When you consider that millions of people are on the Internet 24 hours a day seven days a week it is quite easy to see how promotion via the Internet can quickly saturate a market if it is popular. One good example of this are the viral marketing videos that some businesses put together and put onto websites such as YouTube. By doing this an advert can be seen by literally thousands of people all over the world in less than 24 hours, something which 20 years ago would be thought of as impossible.
