+1. ColdFusion is secure.
PHP is good too. If you follow basic practices, PHP is really secure. It's also easier to learn and use. Many big fishes use it.
Now, a general and a bit off-topic advice : Unless you have a really big business like FB or you are a secret agent group

, PHP is enough. PHP is easy, though powerful while ColdFusion is more on the tougher side. PHP also has many security frameworks which you can make use of.
