No follow links are back links that have rel=”no follow” added in the URL.
In simple terms, no follow links are links that bring referral traffic to your page but carries almost no value in the eyes of Google.

Do-follow link is exactly the opposite of a no follow link.
These kinds of back links come from special kind of directories, articles and landing pages. Most of the time they are inserted by a webmaster instead of you. That’s also the reason why it’s so much harder to get one.
