A spam account is a secondary email account that is used for sign-up pages when people don’t want to give their primary email address. The reason people use a spam account for sign-up is because some sites sell email addresses or bombard them with promotional emails that have little or no value. A spam account, therefore, acts as a buffer, allowing the person to access a program, content or service that requires registration while keeping their main email address spam-free.
