Use VPS plans from libertyvps.net and legionbox.com as they are proven to be the best.
I've had to contact tech support occasionally and they are invariably responsive and knowledgeable. They offer 24hr support and provide email,telephone service and etc.. I've used them all. As a result of my experiences I have set up a second contract for a user group that I manage and have recommended them to several clients.
